Tesla has opened a Flagship Showroom in London's Kensington
Located in Cheval Place in Kensington, which is round the corner from Harrods and with easy access to Heathrow (depending on the time of day and the traffic!), the new Tesla Showroom will be supplemented by Sales & Service Centres in Monaco, Munich and Zurich. The first Tesla Roadsters are due to be delivered to the UK this Summer – all of which will be the Tesla Roadster Signature Edition. However, if you don’t need to be an early adopter, you will be able to take delivery of a RHD Tesla Roadster from 2010.
Mercedes C63 - tyres alight
We put you on notice last week that a Mercedes C63 AMG – being driven by Mauro Calo – was going to attempt a new world drifting record at MB World. Well, as we suspected, they had little trouble claiming the record. Mauro Calo is very familiar with Mercedes and with the track at MB World.
ROLLS-ROYCE and Aston Martin have both announced exciting new convertible models, giving workers at the UK-based car makers a welcome boost to their job security. Aston is set to début a new member of the Vantage family, after shoe-horning a V12 engine into an open-top body to create the V12 Vantage S Roadster. It will make its public entrance at the Pebble Beach Auto Week in California, starting on August 14.
